Most of the time the outer layer of an internal door is only made of medium-density fibre board (MDF) or chip board.
Josko uses high-density fibre board (HDF) for their outer layers as standard. This material is less sensitive to pressure points due to its greater hardness and, because of its higher moisture resistance it is also the ideal protection against door warping.
