THE FIRST COMPLETE RENOVATION IN THE WORLD OF A PUBLIC BUILDING TO PASSIVE HOUSE STANDARD.The Secondary and Polytechnical School in Schwanenstadt was the first public building in the world to be renovated with wooden wall elements, vacuum insulation, an optimised ventilation system and the passive house windows from Josko.
RESULTS OF THE PROJECT: - An almost 90% reduction in heating requirement
- A saving of over 400,000 kW/h – which is equivalent to the annual energy consumption of a medium-sized block of flats
- 75% reduction in CO2 emissions
