8. How important is a “warm”, optimised window frame?
A window frame which is heat optimised is described as “warm”.
At Josko there are four window systems and one exterior door system with high-insulating thermofoams. These have a highly positive effect on the total heat value (Uw) of a window, with improved isotherm development (condensation).
In the case of exterior doors in particular a “warm” door leaf and a “warm” frame are decisive factors in the insulating quality of the exterior door.
