2010
Josko celebrates its 50-year jubilee. A new logo is presented at the celebration of the year.

Josko presents:

  • Numerous unique design innovations on the exterior door market
  • Refined wooden window classics – the RUBIN 90 and TITAN 101 are stronger and warmer.

2009
For the first time in the company’s history Josko exceeds the 100 million Euro turnover limit at the end of 2009.

Josko presents:

  • The revolutionary FixFrame Blue Vision all-glass system
  • The unique fully flush-fitting PLATINUM 82 wood/aluminium window is launched onto the market
  • The new PLATINUM lift and slide door is introduced as an architectural and technical masterpiece.

2008
Josko presents:

  • PROFORM, the plastic window with the flush look
  • MET, the revolutionary interior door with the “invisible” frame


2007
For the fourth time in succession Josko is the market leader in wood/aluminium windows. Josko was the only company in the top 5 in the window industry to increase its market share by 0.5% to 9.5%.


2006
Josko presents the three biggest innovations in the company’s history:

  • 2 new plastic windows: PROLINE 85 and PROTHERM 85
  • 2 new wood/aluminium windows: DIAMANT 97 and DIAMANT 100Pro
  • Re-launch of the entire exterior door programme 


2005
Josko starts the JMSP project – Josko Assembly and Service Partner


2004
New marketing line with the slogan: QUITE SIMPLY JOSKO.

Josko presents:

  • With the FixFrame, the window system without visible frame, Josko reaches another milestone in modern architecture.


2002
Josko is the first prominent window and door manufacturer to produce a passive house window as standard, with PassivECO, and for this it receives the Energy Genius 2002 Award from the Environment Ministry and the Province of Upper Austria.

Josko presents:

  • The new exterior door series EVOLUTION with flush glazing and exclusive handles.


2001
The new flush-fitting doors were hailed as a sensation in the interior door sector. Josko is the first leading manufacturer on the market to provide an up-to-date, design-orientated solution for modern living.


2000
The new plastic window systems PROLINE 80 and PROTHERM 80 are introduced onto the market as the first joint product innovation.
 
Josko and Ekutherm merge to form Josko Fenster und Türen GmbH. Austria’s renowned all-in supplier of windows, exterior and interior doors is born under a common name.


1999
Innovation prize for the development of the bio-low energy windows RUBIN 78 and DIAMANT 89.


1998
The newly presented plastic window PROLINE PRO 4 provides the best heat protection for Furore.


1997
The revolutionary wood/aluminium window DIAMANT 89 conquers the market.


1995
For the first time window production with profiles developed by the company. PROLINE, the first plastic window with concealed fittings, is presented.


1993

The first window with concealed fittings – a sensational market innovation in Austria. The first European producer to use exclusively water-soluble varnishes and glazes.


1986
Opening of Austria’s most up-to-date window and door factory on an area of 33,000 m2.


1985
A major fire destroys Josko’s entire production on the edge of Kopfing.


1982
Austria’s first computer-controlled dimensioned window system goes into operation.


1980
Enters the promising market of plastic windows with the founding of the company Ekutherm.


1977
Josko becomes a brand name – “Products of Lion Quality”.


1972
First finished frame for interior doors in Austria.


1960
Founding of the company Josko as a classical joiner’s workshop by Johann Scheuringer, member of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to his wide entrepreneurial vision, the company begins concentrating on windows and doors as early as 1970. This specialisation quickly results in rapid growth.
