The new flush-fitting doors were hailed as a sensation in the interior door sector. Josko is the first leading manufacturer on the market to provide an up-to-date, design-orientated solution for modern living.

The new plastic window systems PROLINE 80 and PROTHERM 80 are introduced onto the market as the first joint product innovation.
Josko and Ekutherm merge to form Josko Fenster und Türen GmbH. Austria’s renowned all-in supplier of windows, exterior and interior doors is born under a common name.

Innovation prize for the development of the bio-low energy windows RUBIN 78 and DIAMANT 89.

The newly presented plastic window PROLINE PRO 4 provides the best heat protection for Furore.

The revolutionary wood/aluminium window DIAMANT 89 conquers the market.

For the first time window production with profiles developed by the company. PROLINE, the first plastic window with concealed fittings, is presented.

The first window with concealed fittings – a sensational market innovation in Austria. The first European producer to use exclusively water-soluble varnishes and glazes.

Opening of Austria’s most up-to-date window and door factory on an area of 33,000 m2.

A major fire destroys Josko’s entire production on the edge of Kopfing.

Austria’s first computer-controlled dimensioned window system goes into operation.

Enters the promising market of plastic windows with the founding of the company Ekutherm.

Josko becomes a brand name – “Products of Lion Quality”.

First finished frame for interior doors in Austria.
1960
Founding of the company Josko as a classical joiner’s workshop by Johann Scheuringer, member of the Upper Austrian Chamber of Commerce. Thanks to his wide entrepreneurial vision, the company begins concentrating on windows and doors as early as 1970. This specialisation quickly results in rapid growth.
